Mina is a Research Assistant at McMaster University and holds a Master degree in Engineering Management from University of Alberta. She holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Her background combines data analysis, modeling, and operational methods applied across healthcare and service-oriented systems.
During her graduate studies, Mina worked on a healthcare optimization project focused on improving Emergency Medical Services operations in the City of Edmonton using simulation, optimization, and data analysis in Python. She is currently working on a data analytics project with The Compass Food Bank in Ontario, where she analyzes operational data to identify patterns and insights that support data-driven decision making. Broadly, her work focuses on service and operations analytics and the use of data to improve system performance.
