Junkai Luo is an MSc student in Computational Science and Engineering at McMaster University, working with Dr. Nooshin Salari and Dr. Lingling Shi at the DeGroote School of Business. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning, operations research, and data-driven decision-making.

He is particularly interested in machine learning for sequential decision problems, with applications in operations management. Before joining McMaster, he received his bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from Sichuan University, where he conducted research on reinforcement learning and large language models.
